Review/Approval: Branding and Logo Redesign (7:20pm/10 minutes) Danielle Lafayette and Nick Hill- Danielle will present on Branding and naming as it is very important to the success and future of our Neighborhood Council. The goal is to focus on one name accompanied with a Logo that represents us. We as a NC will review and vote to represent ourselves as Empowerment Congress West (ECWest). Nick has developed a logo that will be presented 8. Review/Approval: Outreach Materials (7:30pm/10 minutes) Pricing for outreach materials, approve an outreach budget. Motion for amount not to exceed. 9. Review/Approval: The Black Family Conference: Funding and Partnership (7:40/10 minutes) Layla Sewell Awaken the Greatness Foundation Finance Committees recommendation to fund $2,000 for the purchase of food and/or promotional items. Motion: Approve the finance committees recommendation in the amount requested of $2,000 dollars to the Awaken the Greatness Foundation for the Black Family Conference on November 22, 2014. Empowerment Congress West Strategic Plan Goal: Partner/Promote workshops on business retention, development and youth entrepreneurial development. Increase youth involvement through collaborations with youth centered organizations 10. Discussion and possible action: Kaiser/6 foot fence (7:50/15 minutes) Kaiser would like to put a six foot high fence surrounding the property in Marlton Square. Case No. APCS -2013- 4102-SPE-DRB-SPP-SPR. possibly revise our comment letter 11. Discussion and Action: Appointment of new Outreach Chair. (8:05/10 minutes) 12. Discussion and Action: Holiday Decorations (8:15/15 minutes) Carl Morgan PLUB committees recommendations for Decorations for our Neighborhood Council public right of way areas. Decide on locations for plantings, select drought tolerant sustainable plants and ground covers, select reusable holiday decorations 13.
