The League
TM

Welcome to The League
TM
, the rst multi-league pool youve likely ever been in. In the
2014 edition of The League
TM
you will be competing in fantasy for both the NFL and NHL. This
is not a head-to-head pool, ranking will be determined by total points accumulated from both
sports. The point system is designed to give both sports relatively equal weight. There will be a
single live mixed draft where you will be selecting players from the NFL and NHL for your
fantasy team. The draft will be a snake with initial positions randomly selected.
Team Composition
Each fantasy team will consist of 24 players (12 from each league). The scoring
positions for football are Quarterback (QB), Runningback (RB), Wide Receiver (WR), Tight End
(TE), Kicker (K), and Team Defense/Special Teams (D/ST). You are required to draft at least one
player/team from each of these 6 positions and an additional 6 NFL players/teams must be
chosen to reach 12 players total. The scoring positions for hockey are Center (C), Left Wing
(LW), Right Wing (RW), two Defence (D), and Goalie (G). You are required to draft at least one
player from each position and two defencemen. An additional 6 NHL players will be drafted to
round out the hockey portion of your roster. #

Trades, Waivers, Injuries
Trades are allowed in this league between any players regardless of their league. However, the
number of players exchanged in each trade must be equal. That is to say, every team must consist of 24
players after every trade. Also note that the NFL season and the NHL season do not follow the same
schedule. After December NFL players no longer hold value as there are no more games to be played,
keep this in mind when considering trades. Trades are encouraged, and any disputes must be directed
towards Michael Dr Andre Nee.#
There are no add/drops in this league. All players not selected in the draft are not eligible to be
on any team during the fantasy season. There is also no injury relief during the season. Participants are
encouraged to keep this in mind when drafting players who may be injury prone. If all NFL or NHL
players in a particular position are injured a trade is the best avenue to alleviate this issue.
Positional Projections
Based on previous statistics in addition to ESPN projects you can expect certain range of points
per position
Q and C should get between 250 - 350#
RB, WR, RW, and LW should get between 180 - 250#
TE, D/ST, and D should get between 120 - 200#
K and G should get between 140 - 170
How you use this information to draft your team is entirely up to you.
