    How can I draw a curve on a point object and then create
    a curve object?
    As of Studio version 12 SR1, you will be able to customize the ribbon menu to display the Draw Curves command.

    1) Click on the Application Swirl> Customize.

    2) Expand the Tools>Legacy Commands. Select Legacy Commands. Check the Visibility>All box.


    3) Name the file and click "Save". You will need to restart the program for the changes to take effect.

    The Draw Curves on Points command is now added to Tools menu. This command is the Draw Curves
    command from versions prior to version 12. This will allow for drawing and editing curves on the points.

    4) In order to convert the curves created in Draw Curves on Points to a curve object, the Free Curves
    option also needs to be added to the menu. In the Application Swirl>Customize change the drop down to
    Curves.


    5) Expand the Points>Wrap menu from the right column. Select Free Curves from the right column.

    6) Click the middle arrows to copy the Free Curves under the Wrap menu.

    7) To create a curve on the points that was drawn in the Draw Curves on Points command, go to the Points
    tab>Wrap >Free Curves.


    8) This will convert to a Curve object in the Model Manager panel.
