History
The Serpents of the Light is an ancient clan which has started long ago, over 300 years the first
setites has entered the West Indies (Displayed in the map below), this was during the
happening of slave trades which is also called the heyday of Slavery during those times the
slavery was really attractive and was done by a lot of countries, it was absolutely normal in
these times that slaves were sold and used by their owner for example to work at their farm or
simply serve as their servants.

They also say that a mortal cultist has been taken and sold as slave, but then become a sailor
and headed back towards Africa.
Also he has pleaded to his undead masters and his fellow tribesman who were suffering the
death by working on mils and sugar plantations. The elders of the cult has agreed together that
that was the cause of the many deaths,
One day a vampire priest has smuggled himself into a slave ship and went across the Atlantic
with it, but when it arrived in Hispaniola the slaves were no longer in chains but the white
people were!
The great priest led an angered revolution against the slave owners, the Europians came to help
the slave owners and crushed the revolution but did not manage to lay their hands on the
people who were responsible of this revolution or the Vampire Priest.
The great priest is now asleep in the earth, but if he gets awakened hell lead all the faitful back
to Africa.

Culture
The Serpents are committed to combating the Antediluvians, and believe Set to be among
their enemies; they are considered traitors by other Setites.
Apart from the spiritual beliefs and ideology they are traitors, although there is no significant
difference between The Serpents (;Cobras) and the Followers of Set (Their Parent clan).
They both share their weakness of light and also learn the same disciplines, these disciplines
are:
Obfuscate
Presence
Serpentis
Also the Serpents of Light believe in a Supreme Creator, they also believe that the Supreme
Deity does not interact with the world at all.
However, the bloodline cult leaders do not have a problem with the myth of Caine, they
recognize him as a king from their own myth.
The Cobras sees other Antediluvians as brothers and sisters of the king, who persuaded him
to share the stolen power and now seek his death and fight amongst themselves. The Cobras
accept the fact that the Antediluvians are real and crush the descendants when they are
awaken, since they wish to not be a dinner for the Antediluvians they help the Sabbat hunt
them and their minions, including their parent clan.
The tool of the Serpents of Light is seduction, this is one of their strong weapons and they see
their weapons as addiction and decay, they are expertise at discovering the weaknesses of
their opponent and use whatever they can to gain control over their opponent, this can be
drugs, sex and power and many other ways to seduce their opponent.
The Serpents enjoy to have the opportunity to bring a princes city down like any dedicated
Sabbat member, they set loose the drug enforcement or weapon enforcement and use
whatever they can to destroy the city of the Prince.

Embracement
The Serpents of Light often embrace Haitian or North African individuals as clan members,
as is it more practical, however anyone can serve the Serpents of Light if they are highly
intelligent, aggressive bent and have a lot willingness to learn new things.

All Serpents of Light clan members must provide their self with knowledge over Voodoo
theology or another form of occultism, The Serpents of Light has been growing a lot of
strength and numbers in clan members, due to their choice of becoming a power player
within the Sabbat.
Elder Cobras are having a great loyality in their childer from the night of the embrace.
Much of their speech when conversing with eachother occurs in Haitian patois and
Voodoo references.

Organization
The Serpents of Lights their organization sees knowledge as strength and recognize their
principes, they always attend to Sabbat pack meetings and ritae. Sometimes they do
organize pack actions, especially when it comes to war parties they are expertise in it and
most of the times do the organization into it, also scouting is one of the things the
Serpents organize


The four elders who hold the highest initiation within the bloodline are called the
empereurs; the last three initiations within the line come only with the consent of all the
empereurs together. The leader of a Cobra cell is called the president, while a member in
good standing is called a bte sereine or Serene Beast.

A single cell is called a shanpwel. When a new cell forms, an empereur sends a miniature
coffin emblazoned with a silver serpent encircling a golden star, the madouk destoile, for
their shrine. Often, Sabbat packs with vampires of other lineages under Cobra guidance
come to accept their branch of Noddism as doctrine.

While they take a sybaritic pleasure in the Jyhad between Sabbat and Camarilla and make
superb espionage agents for the Sabbat, their loyalty remains with their patron cult above

Diciplines
The Serpents of light practice three diciplines, those discipline are Obfuscate, Presence and
Serpentis.

Obfuscate:
Obfuscate is a discipline for vampires to hide theirselfs, this can mainly be used to get invisible
and you wont be able to be seen by other people, this also can be done by deceiving the mind
of the opponent by erasing yourself from their mind or an object, also Obfuscate can be used to
make weapons invisible even when you use them, so you can for example hold a Katana and
use the discipline to make it invisible, people will not see that you are holding a Katana but
however if you raise it at them and slice them they still be hurt by the invisible weapon you
are holding.
Obfuscate discipline is being practiced by the following clans: Assamites, Followers of Set, Serpents of the
Light, Malkavians, Nosferatu.
Presence:
Presence is a discipline which is used to manipulate emotions which can attract people to you
or make them leave, theyre usually used to control crowds, this is good if you wish to convince
someone to have the same opinion as yours, also this can be used to manipulate people in
thinking that you are very strong and powerful which makes it hard for them to step against
you.
Presence discipline is being practiced by the following clans: Brujah, Followers of Set, Serpents of the Light,
Toreador, Ventrue.
Serpentis:
Serpentis is a discipline known for the providing of shapeshifting abilities, although it also got
other characteristics associated with snakes, you can for example use The eyes of the Serpent
to immobilize someone with your gaze, also you can grow yourself a tongue which can be used
as weapon, besides that you have mummify which makes you go in torpor and makes you
nearly indestructible. Also you can make yourself immume to staking by removing your heart
using this discipline.
Serpentis discipline is being practiced by the following clans: Followers of Set and Serpents of the Light.
