Instructor: Rob OBrien (Sci 163) 807-9569 email: [email protected] Course Description: Overview of instrumental methods of chemical analysis including spectroscopic methods, mass spectrometry, surface analysis, and chromatography. OUC equivalent: CHEM 325. [3-3-0] Required Prerequisites: CHEM 211. STAT 230 or BIOL 304 is recommended. Lectures: 7:00 pm - 8:30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday. Sci 337 Laboratory: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Thursday: Sci 221
Note: The laboratory and the lecture must be passed independently. Students are expected to use a word processor as well as a spreadsheet program.
