    What Is a Global Teacher? A global teacher is one who is able to work in multicultural contexts in this extremely globalized world.

    They are able to teach their students about various themes, for instance sustainable development, interdependence, cultural identity and diversity, equality and social justice and migration. A global teacher is one who teaches his or her subject matter in such a way that it encompasses and respects the subject itself and the people who are learning. It can also mean someone who teaches while trying to prepare his or her students for the differing cultures and customs of the world in which they will live. What are the qualifications of global teacher? Global Teachers is an organization that provides highly qualified and experienced teachers for school systems around the globe. Teachers with experience in crucial areas such as special education, elementary education, math, science, Spanish, and more are available here and have been screened for their experience, expertise, and integrity. There are a number of qualifications that must be met to become part of this organization. Prior to any consideration to becoming a Global Teacher, the applicant must meet a minimum standard of requirements. The applicant must be able to demonstrate that they have a firm grasp of the English language. The applicant must also possess a citizenship that is outside of the United States. They must have earned at least the equivalent of a bachelor's degree or higher and must have successfully completed a accredited educator preparation program.
