Below is a list of changes by chapter from the SNT-TC-1A 2006 Edition to the new 2011 Edition. I have to say I wish they added Shall and Should to the definition section of SNT-TC-1A 2011 Edition. My definition is that Shall is imperative in present state, and Should is suggestive in past. That said I hope this list makes your life easier. Flawed samples used for practical examinations should be representative of the components and/or configurations that the candidates would be testing under this endorsement and approved by the NDT Level III. 8.7.4 The NDT Level III is responsible to ensure that if the ACCP and ASNT NDT Level II specific and practical examinations are used by the employer, as stated in 8.7.2 and 8.7.3.1, the requirements of 8.4.1, 8.4.2 and 8.5.5 are satisfied.
