I. Objectives
My long-term goal would be to get to the top of corporate ladder. It would be nice to do
this by climbing straight up one ladder but most likely I will need to jump laterally from ladder
to ladder to continue my assent. Ideally, I would like to end my professional career as a CEO of a
large, well-known corporation. I would really get enjoyment out of knowing that I make an
impact on the day-to-day lives of everyone my company influences
II. Career Path
Basic Functions:
• Learn as much as possible about the each segment of industrial management that can
support the company.
• Utilizes existing production control knowledge to help the department that involve in
production.
Types of Decision:
• Must have a broad understanding about industrial management and manufacturing world.
• Must be able to continually learn new segments of business and new processes.
• Must have good communication skills both within a team and within the customers.
Basic Functions:
Primary Duties:
• Develop strategic, tactical and operational plans for supply chain related business
offerings
• Work closely with business development, customers and vendors to develop cost saving
and margin increasing processes
Type of Decisions
Organizational relationship:
• Must understand the business of the company, planning, pricing, and logistic.
• Must have theoretical and practical knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain
management.
III. Analysis
The primary career I have chosen is procurement executives. This career requires hard work,
patience and perseverance. You must start out on the bottom floor and prove yourself. Through
this career you advance from junior executives/engineer to senior engineer.
