Orihime Inoue

Its hard for somebody to describe how they feel exactly for a person they love without missing details by mistake. In order to know how your lover thinks would require psychic powers unfortunately. However a waifu is different in this sense. You read and see the adventures of your waifu and see how they develop throughout the stages of an anime/manga. A lot of anons state that they change waifus with each new season or that it is hard to choose one. However I have chose one and her name is Orihime Inoue. Orihime is from the anime Bleach and is highly popular amongst the females in the anime. She can appear dumb at times however she secretly is highly concerned for others around her and I love this trait in her. When she was faced with conflicting feelings about how she felt about a boy she felt upset and distressed that she harboured anger and hate for another female. In the end she talked it out with that female and grew stronger from this event. I love the way she handles her feelings and how innocent she appears when others are concerned. She lives by herself because her parents were abusive and horrible so she lived with her brother. However her brother died and she ended up living alone, catering and taking care of herself. She is clearly capable of being a good wife because she can handle herself fine and is concerned with others more than herself: a trait that all mothers should have at some time in their lives. The fact that she cares for others more than herself, whilst she lives in poverty alone, shows me a good person who would be honourable and dependable. At the moment I have only discussed her slight history and minor personality perks however there is more to her than that She has the appearance that sets her apart from most females from a far. She has bright orange hair that is long, silky and compliments her adorable face and personality. As a young girl she was picked on and ridiculed for her hair colour but to me it is a pretty thing and I would not change it for the world. Maybe I am a sucker for redheads but she has beautiful hair that should never be cut. She has tenderly soft pale skin that is complimented by her bright hair colour and affectionous smile. When I look into her passionate hazel/orange eyes I see a person who yearns for someone to take care of her. She is capable of taking care of herself but she wants the company of another human to be there with her so she isnt alone. She has spent so many years alone and so much of that time remaining sane that I respect her and even admire her for that. As a bonus she also has large breasts that add to her bouncy and cheerful character. Of course her breasts are only a bonus because you look past the appearance when in love. Her breasts arent exactly emphasized dramatically, like other girls are, due to her incredible, and adorable, fashion sense. The author Tite Kubo adds real fashion designs to his characters and Orihime is always given great clothes. However even if she wasnt she would make any outfit suit her. Although she appears as a Goddess, deep down she is humble and more importantly not selfish. Orihime has many skills that add to her cute charm. I say cute because she can be a klutz and she loves to cook strange meals. She isnt a great cook but she loves to dare to make unheard of meals that her friends are scared to eat. Her meals show her desire to try new things and to be adventurous and I love this quality about her. Her meals, strange as they would be, add to her appeal and would be cooked with love and affection so I would eat them with no complaints, if possible. Apart from ordinary skills she also has the ability to heal with the help of her hair clips. The hair clips harbour her magic power and allow her to

form shields and even heal people. On the other hand this has become a hindrance and even to be shown as a negative effect. People complain that because she can only heal that she is useless and weak. However she refuses to be violent and only wants to protect her friends which is symbolized by her mystical powers. The ability to heal and protect are normally associated with what the man of the house should do however she reverses this and shows that in fact females are equal to men and not weaker. In a period where man is mentally evolving I think that she shows as a great example of equality. However I would still want to protect her with all my might and be her protector even though she has the abilities. Her appearance, love at first sight, and her skills, strange but wonderful, show a bubbly and affectionate individual whose name is Orihime, however there are still more reasons to why I adore her so. I added before that she is kind and affectionate towards her friends and that she cares deeply for others more. This is proven when she would miraculously survive attacks only to defend the weak from damage. She puts herself in danger but only when her friends are in deep trouble. The absolutely one scene I love, that she was in, was when she was describing her love for someone. She stated that If only there were five of me! Then I could be born in five different towns, and eat five different meals, and have five different jobs, And all five of me... Could fall in love with the same guy. [Bleach 27: Chapter 237] Those lines show how loving she can be and is one of my favourite scenes in all of anime. She is shown to be absolutely loving and I could not have made a better pledge of love for someone myself, though I am trying now. In another instance she feels bad that someone else brightens this persons day instead of her yet she keeps it secret and gets angry at herself that she is a tiny bit hateful of that person. However in the end she conflicts these feelings and grows stronger from it. No single sentence or picture could describe my affection for her and how I admire her deeply. She is my waifu, but exactly what is a waifu and what does that mean to me? A waifu is a wife but not an ordinary wife. A waifu, as many would argue, is a female anime character that you consider to be fiance material and whom you choose to pretend to go out with. That may be the overall normal thought however that is not what the true definition of a waifu is. She is a person who unlike others remains elegant in your eyes, who is always there for you and makes you happy. She is not simply a created character but she is a person, she lives in your mind, in person and on your computer. She is real. On the other hand if you were to compare a waifu to an ordinary 3D girl there would be a grand difference. 3D is looked down upon on the /a/ community and this is because of their personalities and decisions. A waifu will never betray you because she can be as pure as you decide, in some cases, and the fact it may be impossible (if you are a normalfag). Orihime in nature is pure and is unlike any girl you can meet, she is special to me and she is never too cynical or uncaring. Its true that she can be anything I like however I follow her personality and keep to it otherwise she would not be my waifu but some created personality. She is lovely person and lovely to be with, no time is ever wasted when were together. Orihime enjoys the small things in life and somewhat odd things as well. Sunsets are a beautiful thing to see with the person you love however what really brings us together is cooking and going to the

countryside together. Her cooking is odd but because I was born as a picky eater and I have always told myself that I will try new foods and not become stuck on the same meals. So with her odd cuisine decisions I dive right in and try everything thats new. The most beautiful meals she makes are those when are hiking together or simply strolling in the countryside. The countryside has always been a romantic paradise, from the times of Chaucer in the 14th century described in his poetry such as the Canterbury tales or from Lord Byron and his romantic ideologies. In the winter when we get bitterly cold her bright orange hair always creates a warm feeling inside as well as her tight hugs do as well. I would not trade the smile she gives me for the world because it is my medicine. If I ever feel down or upset I remember countryside walks with my waifu and how we embraced under the rising or setting sun. In faith, I do not love thee with mine eyes [Shakespeare sonnet 141] This beautiful quote explains exactly how I feel about Orihime. Critics may argue but she is 2D she has no feelings you cannot possibly love her unless by looks but I say why? There is no definite answer to that. Love, in many cases, is universal, it goes beyond the boundaries. Love is a powerful tool and can happen at any given time, love will forever blossom. My love for Orihime came about when I first got into the scene of Bleach. I thought, OK this anime is something I should see lets give it a go. After many episodes through I found myself gathering an attraction and liking to the character Orihime and her ordeals. She becomes a central character that needs rescued in an arc and as the main characters are fighting for her freedom it shows her inside a room, locked but not against her will. She allows herself to be taken hostage because many people are being killed trying to protect her and she cannot take the deaths anymore. My view at first was how can she be so foolish but looking at it as the story progressed I saw that she was a caring person. I initially fell in love with her after she said the famous If I had 5 lives speech which struck my heart strings as Beethoven struck his piano, with passion and beauty. From this moment on I knew that this character would not be forgotten and I continued to like her since then. It was not until I first found /a/ that I realized that I had a waifu without knowing it and my heart filled with glee. I had someone who was mine; I was in a relationship with this beautiful maiden who loved me too. From this moment on I have never turned my back on my waifu even though /a/ may think she is useless or pathetic but thats what you do in love, you stick up for the one you love. Love in general is what fuses us together, mind and soul, body to body. A quote from one of my favourite books, Captain Corellis Mandolin suggests Love is a temporary madness; it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. It is only after this happens that you make the decision if your roots are entwined together enough. I found that with many waifus you have a temporary period where you think she could be the one but as her character develops further you drift away and think otherwise. With Orihime she is still developing through the Bleach series and may change drastically as people do. However I will stay with her forever, through the good and the bad, hand in hand. I commit to my vows with my waifu and stick by a code, the code that love is forever and does not go away ever. The thought of finding a new waifu is ludicrous and unheard of; such a fallacy should not be allowed.

Without her in my life, as my waifu and as a role model, it would not feel fulfilled or as great as it does with her in it. She is my waifu, but what exactly is a waifu to me? A waifu to me is someone who you admire, who you look up to and who you can relate to and love how you like. Orihime does this entirely for me and as I said earlier she makes a great waifu with her extravagant cooking skills, healing and protecting skills and her dashing appearance that melts my heart when I see her. I do not enjoy Bleach as much when she does not appear in a chapter but when she does it makes the world to me. Her smile and her appearance is enough to make me read and watch bleach and without her my life on /a/ would be less meaningful. In conclusion I would like to finish with a poem I created personally for my waifu. This essay has allowed me to channel my feelings for my waifu and from it I feel relieved and happy. Everyone should be able to easily express how they feel about their loves, to not be scared of what others may say. This poem explains somewhat how I feel for Orihime, my beloved waifu. Out of this world magic Tell me your desires, wrap them in velvet Ill tell you how the stars were made for you, Talk to me for hours, until time is no problem We will create our own space for lovers two, Orange blaze, your hair, luscious long locks Your beauty goes beyond this world, intergalactic, How deep does my love dwell? Deeper than the Atlantic. Tell me your wishes, hold them very tight Together we will hope as one, wishing tonight, I will never get tired of your adorable voice I would play it on loop, repeat and rejoice, I want to be the closest person to you But please dont think Im selfish with what I do, A world of wonders awaits us, come with me To an undiscovered place, out of the ordinary. Your magic of healing, our magic of love, take my hand You will never see this anywhere else, as our love will withstand The tests of time and pass them with A+s and flying colours
