Recruitment of various posts in PSPCL against CRA 276/2012 and 277/2012 WRITTEN TEST NOTICE
The written test for candidates who have applied for recruitment of various posts in response of advertisement dated 11-05-2012 in various newspapers will be held on 14.07.2012 and 15.07.2012 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in three cities of Punjab (Chandigarh, Patiala and Jalandhar). The candidates are required to report at the examination centre for written test minimum 30 minutes before the commencement of the written test. Following is brought to the attention of candidates who have applied against the said recruitment notice of PSPCL: 1. Admit cards have been sent to those candidates whose data has been reconciled with fee record available and those who have properly completed the registration process, to candidate's registered email id for appearing in the said test. Candidates may also download/print admit card from PSPCL website www.pspcl.in (recruitment of various posts against CRA 276/12 & 277/12) by Login/entering their ID and password (entered at the time for Registration /Filling online application) from 06th July, 2012 onwards. Only those candidates, who possess Admit Card, will be allowed to appear for the written test. 2. All the candidates are required to bring and keep with them a proof of establishing his/her identity in the form of either an Election ID Card/Driving License/Pan Card/Unique Identification Card/Passport, or any other proof that establishes candidates identity at the time of examination. Such candidates who have not uploaded their photo while submitting on-line applications should bring two photographs at the time of examination. 3. A Facilitation Centre will be functional at three cities of examination (Chandigarh, Patiala and Jalandhar as per addresses mentioned at PSPCLs website). In case of admit card related query candidates are advised to visit the Facilitation Centre from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on 13.7.2012 for the queries related to exam/written test scheduled on 14.7.2012 and other candidates may visit on 14.7.2012 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm for the queries related to exam/written test scheduled on 15.7.2012. Candidates approaching Facilitation Centre for their query who do not get the admit card, must bring with them two attested photographs, copy of application form, bank fee challan slip and his/her identify proof and all other testimonials. 4. The schedule of examination is available at PSPCLs website with detail of posts. In case the candidate receives more than one admit card for single post due to multiple registrations by him/her or for posts whose examination is on the same date and time, the candidate is directed to handover the admit card which are not required, to the room invigilator at the time of examination. The candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination for one post only in a particular session/date and time. 5. The candidate who have applied on-line for the post for which they do not have the required qualification as indicated in the advertisement and filled the application form by giving

incorrect/incomplete/false information and Admit Card has been sent to them by on-line process, they shall be appearing at their own risk. Their application/ candidature shall be liable for rejection out rightly at any stage during and/ or after the process of selection. 6. It is further to be noted that Graduation in Engineering/ Medicine/ Dental surgery, Bachelor of BioTech., B. Pharma, B. Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Management and Information Technology, Bachelor of Business Administration, B.CAM, B.Sc. (IT) etc. is not covered in the eligibility criteria for the post of UDC (General). Therefore, candidates possessing degree of graduation in engineering in any discipline or the disciplines mentioned above, who have applied on-line for the post of UDC (General), their application for the post of UDC (General) would not be considered. In case Admit cards to such candidates have been sent through on-line process, they shall be appearing for the post of UDC (General), at their own risk. In case, such cases are found later-on candidature of such candidates for all the posts would be rejected and they may be liable even for legal action by the PSPCL.

7. Similarly candidates who have applied for the post of AE(OT)/Electrical but are appearing/having qualification/degree in Mechanical/ Instrumentation &Control / Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics Engg. (i.e. other than degree in Electrical Engineering) and in case Admit cards to such candidates have been sent through on-line process, they shall be appearing for the post of AE(OT)/Electrical, at their own risk. In case, such cases are found later-on during selection process then candidature of such candidates for all the posts would be rejected.

8. Candidates who have applied in the category for which there is no vacancy as per 'Annexure-X' of detailed advertisement; Admit Cards to these candidates have not been issued. In Case Admit Cards to such candidates have been sent through online process, they shall be appearing for that post at their own risk. In case any case is found later on, candidature of such candidates shall be cancelled outrightly.
