1 Introduction
Kamstrup IP Tool is a simple Windows application for doing basic configuration of Kamstrup ethernet modules.
2 Setup
First time the application runs you need to setup a few settings. 1. Start the application. If you have more than one Network-interface-card in your PC, you have to choose the network your IP module is accessed by, by selecting the right interface under [Settings]:

Figure 5: Stating the server. When exiting you will be asked whether or not to save settings - choose [Yes]. Next time you start the application just click [Start Srever].

3.1
Locating modules in the local network All working modules in the local network (within broadcast range) can be discovered by clicking on [Locate Devices].

Wrong IP range or configured to use DHCP in a LAN without) Click [Locate devices using broadcast] and the modules will show in the list including a listing of the invalid IP.

Modules can also be added as static If the module can not be located by the discovery functionality of Kamstrup IP Tool if the actual IP and Port of the module in known. Click [Add static] and provide the IP and Port needed to reach the module.
