How ElectroMats Work
PATENT PENDING
Why ElectroMat?
The ElectroMat prevents animals from crossing through fence openings where roadways intersect fence lines. ElectroMats are also used at fence ends to prevent large animals from entering fenced roadways through the open ends. Provides uninterrupted roadway, driveway or highway vehicle travel through fence lines without the use of a gate.
The majority of animals will back away and not attempt another crossing.
RIGHT OF WAY
Vehicles and pedestrians with shoes can cross the ElectroMat without any harm. Optional pedestrian gates or motionactivated on/off sensors may be added in high pedestrian and pet traffic locations. Can be powered by solar panel and battery combinations for use in all remote locations.

Use ElectroMat here at fence gap for on- and off-ramps or side roads
ElectroMat across roadway in Alaska. ElectroMat has a load rating of 2,350 lbs./sq. in. and will withstand the punishment of heavy truck traffic.
The ElectroMat is made with a special composite of durable recycled plastic and fiberglass mixtures for strength and extra long life. Powered by mains electric supply or by DC battery with solar support.
ElectroMat Advantages:
ElectroMat is lower cost ElectroMat will not entrap animal legs, as happens with cattle guards
Solar-powered ElectroMat
USDA studies and years of field experience have proven the ElectroMat effective and reliable for preventing crossings, equivalent to the effectiveness of a double-wide cattle guard.
ElectroMat has a smooth roadway-contoured surface, and will not put additional wear and tear on vehicles due to surface irregularities ElectroMat does not damage snowplows, resulting in more efficient, less costly road maintenance ElectroMat facilitates higher speed travel through the fence opening ElectroMat reduces the danger of human injury and resulting liability claims from narrowwheeled vehicle accidents that have traditionally been caused by standard cattle guards
