Sub: - Resignation from the service

Dear Sir,

With due respect I would like to submit that I Abhinav Sharma, Deputy Manager (Finance) joined as Assistant Manager (Finance) , is serving & supporting STC wholeheartedly for last 6 years under your control. Now my family circumstances are not allowing me to serve the company more as I belong to Jaipur and my family is settled there only. I am the only son. My father is suffering from Dementia and kidney problem and is in a critical condition. He even does not recognize people and cannot even perform his daily jobs independently. He cannot support the family. My mother is also suffering from very high BP and Sciatica and suggested bed rest by the doctor. Looking my critical circumstances I hereby tender my resignation from service with effect from 12.1.2013 . I understand that as per the terms of employment, I am required to give a notice of three months before resigning from my present position. I will be grateful to you if you could accept this resignation at your earliest possible and wave off the remaining period so that I can support my family by providing them with a proper and regular treatment and compile with my responsibilities. I am very much thankful to you and all the colleagues here for the cooperation and support extended to me during my tenure here. Here, I have found my tenure quite enjoyable and fulfilling.

Sub: - Waive of short notice period.

Dear Sir,

With due respect, I beg to submit that I have resigned on 14th December, 2013, which is duly accepted by the management of STC. According to the norms of the company my notice period will be completed on 13th March, 2013 but due to the reasons mentioned I am unable to complete the 3 months period and request the management to wave the short notice period. Now I want to be relieved on 31st January, 2013. I again request to your goodself kindly wave my short notice period and relieve me on 31st January, 2013.
