Earn the Purdue Master of Science in Engineering (MSE/MS) along with a Certicate in Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 33 credit hours. Both Purdue and Thunderbird are highly ranked in their respective elds. U.S. News and World Report magazine consistently names Thunderbird #1 in international business. Together, the two schools have created a new option called the Engineering Management and Leadership Specialization to help engineers advance their career in technology-based global organizations.

MAXIMIZING YOUR LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL

DisciplineSpecic Engineering

Students enrolled in the Engineering Management and Leadership Specialization will select Purdue courses in their chosen Engineering engineering discipline and take additional Systems courses emphasizing systems design and development. Students will choose 12 credit hours of Thunderbird courses that advance understanding of global management strategies, leading to a Global Management Certicate in Global Management. Engineers pursuing this Purdue MSE/ MS option will have the opportunity to: increase engineering and technical expertise build specic global management skills achieve a masters degree online while pursuing a career full-time

GETTING STARTED
Courses taken from Purdue University are made available primarily through streaming video over the Internet and downloadable MPEG-4 les. Thunderbird courses are taught using a web-based learning management system featuring asynchronous web-videos, discussion boards, synchronous webcasts, and chat rooms. All courses are available online and there is no required period in-residence. You will register for all your courses through Purdue and apply for admission to the multidisciplinary MSE/MS degree program of Engineering Professional Education. Purdue Capstone Project Course (3 credits) - Under the direction of a Purdue faculty member, the student will dene and complete a project aimed at practical application of what was learned within the degree program. The project may be workrelated and/or proprietary. Additional fees are associated with this course due to the one-on-one interaction. Thunderbird Regional Business Environment (3 credits) - This course deals with the political and social context in which business activities take place within a selected region of the world. It includes an onsite component delivered at the selected site in Asia, Europe, or Latin America. Additional fees are associated with this course to cover the on-site costs and airfare. Note: The courses listed above are in addition to the 33 credits required for the degree and will not apply toward the MSE/MS Engineering Management and Leadership Specialization.
