Fresh Expressions Vision Day

Imagine church for those who dont do church 10.00 am 23rd March @ St Marks Kennington This is a really important day and we would love you to join us where you will have the opportunity to hear from people like Bishop Graham Cray (who heads Fresh Expressions), Ian Mobsby (of the new monastic community Moot) and Rachel Jordan who is the National adviser on Mission and Evangelism in the Church of England. They will be sharing the vision for new forms of church and how we can start to look around us in a different way. This will be especially useful for those at Roundshaw or involved/ looking to be involved in River Ministries. There is a 5 charge that covers refreshments & lunch. Do let Sue know if you are coming. We are planning to travel together, details to be confirmed today! [email protected]

Maundy Thursday Passover Supper

28th March, 7.30pm, St Paul's, Roundshaw Come and join in our Passover Supper to recall Jesus' last supper with his disciples. We will share a Passover Meal together, learning, as we go, why the meal is significant, why Jesus celebrated it, and how it remains a key symbolic meal for us as Christians now. This is a church family event, so there are lots of preparations you can help with: both food and equipment. Do check the list on the table by the door and sign up there or email Donna or the church office Calling children, young people and young adults! You're invited to take part in the dramatic part of the meal. For more information please meet-up in the WHSG hall 12.15pm this Sunday after the service.

River Ministry Updates

The Springfield congregation at Wallington Girls have also been meeting to identify possible River Ministries. All their feedback will be put together and shared in the next week (online and in paper format) so that everyone can see the areas that are coming up for consideration. It will then be an opportunity for people to focus on particular areas and decide if they would like to get involved. This is also a chance for anyone else to get involved.
