Monuments, museums, bunkers and cemeteries are a living commemoration to the Battle of Normandy. Visit Beny-sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery, the final resting place for brave Canadian soldiers that fought in this battle. Learn more about history at the Juno Beach Centre, which honours the war effort made by all Canadians, civilian and military alike, both at home and on the various fronts during the Second World War.

Vimy Ridge The Battle of Vimy Ridge, where Canadian soldiers fought as a single unit to gain victory over German troops, is the event from which Canada emerged as a nation. Learn about the momentous victory that was won on April 12, 1917. Visit the hard-fought battleground and walk through the trenches where our brave soldiers once stood.
