Horse shoes were common, so was the heavy plow. In the 14th century the cannon was common.

Ballistas were huge crossbows used against enemies. The battlement was a narrow wall that surrounded the castle to ward off attackers. Belfries were wooden towers on wheels that were used for attack. Loopholes were slits in the wall that let light in and arrows out. The moat was a deep trench that protected foot soldiers. Geometry was used to make cathedrals.

Mostly herbs were used to heal. They sometimes helped, but has limited effect.

One weapon is the spear, we still have javelin throwing in the Olympics. Daggers are still used today as knives. The falchion sword was made with iron and steel which we use today. Caltrops were planted in the ground and we still use them today. Swords were common and we have them today on coats of arms Archers and catapults would attack from afar, and foot soldiers would siege. Siege towers and battering rams would storm the castle, and the defenders would shoot arrows, pour boiling liquids, and build traps to hurt the enemies. When I played the game I lost the battle.
