CASE STUDY IN NATSCI

Christian Eastern orthodox church, officially called the orthodox catholic church it is the second largest Christian church in the world with an estimated 225-300 million adherents. It practices what is understands to be the original ancient traditions, believing in growth without change. Orthodox bishops trace their lineage back to the apostle through the process of apostolic succession. The goal of Orthodox Christians from baptism is to continually draw themselves nearer to God throughout their lives. The process is called theosis, or deification, and is a spiritual pilgrimage in which each person strives to both became more holy through the imitation of Christ and cultivation of the inner life through unceasing prayer (most famously the Jesus Prayer), until united at death with the Fire of Gods love. The biblical text came out of that tradition. It is also not the only important book of the church. These are literally hundreds of early patriotic writings that form part of church tradition.

Buddhism

Buddhism is a religious to the Indian subcontinent that encompasses a variety of traditions belief and practices largely based on teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, which is commonly known as the Buddha. Teaching of the Buddha have been a way of life for a millions of people in the East for over two and a half thousand years. Yet, in the west, it is only comparatively recently that many have turned away from materialism to seek answer in Buddhism. Part of the reason for this development may well lie in Buddhisms age-old refusal to demand blind faith from the followers.

Buddhism remains most popular with in asia, it has two branches generally recognized: theravada (the school of the elders) and Mahayana (the great vehicle) this both branches are now found throughout the world. Estimates of Buddhism worldwide vary significantly depending on the way Buddhism adherence is defined lower estimates are between 350-500 million Buddhist.

Muslim

Muslim also spelled Moslem, Muslims consider the verbatim word of God as revealed to prophet Muhammad. Muslim is an Arabic word meaning one who submits to God. They believe that God is eternal, transcendent, absolutely one (the doctrine) and incomparable, that he is self-sustaining, who begets not nor was begotten. They also believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith that was revealed at many times and place before. They also considered Quran to be both unaltered and the final revelation from God-Final Testament. The majority of Muslims are Junni, being over 75-90% of all Muslims. Their basic religious practices are enumerated in Five Pillars of Islam which, in Additionto Shahadah, consists of daily prayer (salat/fasting) during Ramadan, Almsgiving (Zakat), and the Pilgrimage to mecca (hajj) at least once in a lifetime.

Hindu Hinduism does not promise just something only in the after death life alone. Nor does it stop within the boundaries of :only what is seen is true life. It supports the follower in leading a life that is rich in terms of value, as well as provides a mechanism to extend that smoothly to the great beyond birth-death ultimately.

The Hindu world view is non-exclusive and accepts all other faiths and religious paths, an ancient vedic text in the upanished says that Truth (God) is one, the hindu philosophy , beliefs, codes and conduct and other social and cultural practices came from a wide and varied collection of scriptures and philosophical and religious literature. Hinduism is the third biggest religion in the world and Islam claiming to have more followers. Hinduism is growing at around 1.53 percent annually.
