Be going to

USE
We use be going + to + infinitive for the future. We use it:
To talk about things we have decided to do in the future (plans). A: What are you going to do tomorrow?
Shes going to have a shower.

B: Im going to stay at home. Im going to see a lm.

To predict the future, using information we know now.


Look at those clouds!. Its going to rain. We eat a lot!. Were going to be ill. Look at the time!. Its seven oclock. They arent going to come.

IMPORTANT
Remember to use contractions in informal writing and speaking.
I am going to meet Jane tomorrow > Im going to meet Jane tomorrow

When the main verb of the sentence with be going to is to go, it is often omitted.
Im going to go to the cinema > Im going to the cinema
