Intelligent Proling System

On descent, the knee-break stays raised until the backrest is semi-at (1). Both the backrest and knee-break then descend together until they reach a at position simultaneously (2). This is unique on other beds the knee-break descends regardless of backrest angle, which can result in the client sliding down the bed. The intelligent proling on the Enterprise 3000 bed maximises comfort and reduces pressure, shear and friction. This helps to reduce the risk of pressure ulcers.

Pivot points Movements unique to Enterprise 3000 bed

Compared to a conventional proling bed (A), the Pro-Contour Advance Proling on the Enterprise 3000 bed raises the pivot point of the backrest and thigh section closer to the clients natural pivot point (their hip joint) (B). It mimics the way a persons tissues stretch as they move from lying to sitting and reduces compression on the mattress surface at the seat section. This offers major benets over conventional proling beds: Enhanced pressure, shear and friction reduction Excellent postural support Exceptional comfort

Exceptional Low Height

The excellent low height of 38cm enhances the safety of both patients and carers. It allows easier downward transfers from wheelchairs, chairs etc. In addition, for patients who are at risk of falling and the use of safety sides is considered to be inappropriate, the bed can be left at its lowest height.

Safe Working Load

The safe working load of 230kg allows for the safe management of heavier patients, without the need to source specialist equipment.
