Walk through behind parliament house to Treasury Gardens and see Captain Cooks cottage 12 Melbourne Museum Visit Melbourne Museum See a film at the Imax Cinema Relax in Carlton Gardens (Go at night to see the possums running through the trees) Walk along Gertrude Street (where the tram tracks turn right) and along to enjoy the local architecture, visit antique dealers, check out clothing stores or stop at a pub or cafe.
Stop 13 Brunswick Street SA Walk north up Brunswick Street, plenty of shops and places to have a drink or a meal. Go on a Sunday and see everyone out having brunch in street side cafes. There is a lot of street art off Gertrude Street after the Brunswick street. Stop 15 Smith Street SA Walk up Smith Street and find a bargain in several second hand stores.
