University Prep Class (writing sample) In task 1, you will look at a students writing and identify the errors. Look at the group profile and writing sample collected in response to an exam task for this class. Look at the parts of the text highlighted in GREEN (A-E), RED (i-v) and BLUE (14). For each of these categories: give the category a general name (Criterion 1) look at each error - say what the problem is and what the correction should be. You must use appropriate terminology to do this. (Criterion 2)

Briefly comment on the students intonation and what effect it might have on the listener. I think any listener will find this particular students intonation rather problematic as it does not allow the listener to figure out the start or the end of most sentences making it difficult for the listener to follow and understand the important information the speaker wants to give or even misinterpret it because of the incorrect pauses he gives.Youre still not there with this. Listen again to the very first part where he says Hello. // This is Fatih. // I have a company // in field of automotive // Where Ive put //, does his intonation rise or fall? What should it do? (This is the issue throughout his presentation). Throughout his presentation his intonation falls while it should rise.
