Materials: WorstedYarn: Worsted-weight acrylic Hook: US F/3.75mm Fiberfill Small pebbles or plastic beads Plastic eyes Glue (for attaching eyes) Small amount of contrast yarn for nose

Koala is worked in a spiral dont join rows!

Head: (Beginning at top) Begin with an adjustable ring, and make 6 sc in the ring. Place stitch marker, and move up with each row. [2 sc in next stitch] x 6. [sc in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch] x 6. [sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next stitch] x 6. [sc [sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next stitch] x 6. [sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next stitch] x 6. [sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next stitch] x 6. [sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in next stitch] x 6. You now have 48 sts. Work 6 rows sc. scstitch] [sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc-dec in next stitch] x 6. sc[sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc-dec in next stitch] x 6. sc[sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc-dec in next stitch] x 6. sc[sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc-dec in next stitch] x 6. Cut yarn and pull through stitch, leaving enough yarn to sew head to body.

Cut yarn and pull through stitch, leaving enough yarn to sew ears to head. Assembly: Stuff head with fiberfill. Put a few plastic pellets or pebbles in bottom of fiberfill. body, then stuff remainder with fiberfill. Sew head to body. Sew ears to face. head (do not stuff). Sew nose to face. Stuff arms and legs. Attach legs to widest part of base of body. Attach arms at neck. Embroider or attach plastic eyes.
