However, for the candidates residing in Lahaul & Spiti District, Kinnaur District, Pangi & Bharmour Sub-Divisions of Chamba District and Dodra Kwar Sub-Division of Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh, the last date for receipt of applications is 30.10.2012. Educational and other Qualifications (i) Graduation in Science from a recognized University. Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh. (i) Should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. (ii) Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University or from an Institution duly recognized by the H.P. Government/Central Government. Desirable : Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh. (i) Should have passed Matriculation/Higher Secondary Part-1 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. (ii) Diploma/Degree in the trade of Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Aeronautical or Marine Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution/University duly recognized by the Central or State Government. Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh. (i) Should have passed Matriculation or Higher Secondary Part-I or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. OR Should be a serving regular Civil Defence Instructor/Chief Instructor/Platoon Commander/Administrative Officer/Assistant Store Officer, who has been serving as such for the last five years in the HP Home Guards and Civil Defence Department.

OR A Havildar who has served as such in the Army for at least three years. M.A. in Archaeology/History with ancient Indian History as one of the papers. Should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Sc from any recognized University and having one year Diploma in Medical Radio-Isotope Techniques (DMRIT) from Radiation Medicine Centre of Bhawa Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Trombay, Mumbai. OR Graduate of a recognized University and having two years Diploma in Medical Radio-Isotope Techniques (DMRIT) from Mumbai University, Mumbai. OR Bachelor of Nuclear Medicine Techniques (BNMT) recognized by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), Government of India OR M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Techniques (BNMT) from University recognized by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), Government of India. ii) Radiological Safety Officer level-II Certificate from a recognized University/Institute/Centre. Desirable : Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh. i) Matric with Science or its equivalent from a recognized Board /University. ii) Two years experience in offset press either from Government Institution or from reputed private press. The appointment letter of such candidate(s) who does not qualify the shorthand test in second language shall contain the specific condition that he shall have to pass the test in shorthand in second language within a period of three years and if he qualifies the test in shorthand test in second language within a period of three years he will be eligible to draw his annual increment from due dates and the candidate(s) who qualifies the said test after three years will be eligible to draw his first increment only from the date of qualifying the prescribed test. iii) Should have the knowledge of word processing in computer as prescribed by the recruiting authority. In-service candidates shall be required to produce the N.O.C. from the concerned department at the time of personal interview. They should send their original applications direct to the Board under intimation to their controlling officer. 8. The Candidates selected for appointment to various posts on Contract basis will have to execute a contract with the concerned appointing authority as per the provisions of the Recruitment & Promotion Rules of the post. 9.
