    Tues - Grammar, Speaking, Conversation, Listening, Reading, Writing 1. Grammar Sense Textbook Ch. 18 and Ch.

    26 Check Answers and do listenings 40mins 3 listenings in each chapter Note: Ch. 18 'Will", 3rd listening (promise, prediction), put examples from textbook on board, and elicit differences. Grammar form is the same. Students will benet from 5 examples of each before listening activity. 2. Drilling (structure/form) will, going to 20mins See attached resource sheet for method ideas 3. Conversation Practice w/error correction 30mins Elicit 15 conversation questions, 5 from previous grammar, 5 from weekend, and 5 random Small group conversations, teacher writes down 12 mistakes Write mistakes on board and correct as class 5. American Headway 2 Reading Ch. 6 45mins Dictate Comp Questions (usually Ex.4)/Discussion Questions (What Do You Think) to class, then hand out textbooks for students to check and do reading/ answer/check questions. 6. American Headway 2 Ch.5 or Ch.6 Workbook Exercises 25mins Students can choose, and check their answers with the teacher book. 7. Writing Game 20mins 2 teams/head to head, one student from each team is at board, and must write a complete grammatically correct sentence on board. Team members can help vocally but only one team member at board. One point for team that correct/ fastest answer. Note: start with verbs, transitive/intransitive, subjects/double subjects, verb phrases, or anything the students were struggling with that day.
