    Adidas is a German sporting goods company founded in the early 1920s by Adolf "Adi" Dassler in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Originally called "Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik", Adi took control of the company after his brother Rudolf founded rival company Puma, changing the name to Adidas which combines parts of Adi's name. Christian Dior is a French luxury fashion house founded in the 1940s in Paris by Christian Dior, known for bold and sophisticated designs defined by glamour under Dior and his successor John Galliano.

    ADIDAS

    Adidas is German multinational sporting goods, in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The company originally called" Gebrder Dassler Schuhfabrik" was founded by Adolf (Adi) Dassler, in the early 1920's with the help of his brother Rudolf Dassler. But Ruddi and Adi were troubled by what Rudi founded his own factory, PUMA. And Adi Dassler took control of the company and changed its name to "adidas". The company name comes from the name of its founder,"Adi" is short for Adolf, and "das" the first syllable of the last name".
