Teachers can tell a story of How do you feel? Teacher will explain how to describe favorite foods. 2. Students understand how to describe what they see in a picture 3. Teachers should show some sample photos of foods and ask students what they see. 4. Teacher should write on the board expressions such as, This is kimchi. It is made of cabbage, red pepper powder, garlic, etc. Also, teachers teach expressions such as, That looks delicious, I like that, too, Yummy, etc 5. Teacher will explain how to register and use the online program Voicethread. 6. Teacher will create a Screen share on how to use Voicethread and how to submit the assignment onto the class homepage (Edmodo). 7. Students should be instructed on how to save photos from the Internet to their computer. Need to describe what kind of task it is and identify and comment of the 4 features of the task: 1. Students download or take pictures of three of their favorite foods 2. Students upload pictures to Voicethread and then record themselves describing the food in the pictures using the expressions studied in class. 3. Students then upload their Voicethread project to their class homepage.

Need to describe what post-task options you chose and why you chose it After each student has uploaded their project to the main page, other students will record one of the expressions, That looks delicious, I like that, too or Yummy. etc. This is a good way to ensure that the students listen and speak English to each other, not just their teacher. Any expected issues that could arise and how you would deal with them. - Technology issues tend to always follow Murphys Law - Be sure to give ample time to get used to the new technology - If there is a chance, use a compute lab to help students understand the technology - Or have students use the technology during class time, one at a time.
