Thanksgiving costs hard to swallow?

Of all the things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving, the price of the meal wont be one of them. Texans will pay an average of $48.69 for a feast for 10 with all the xings up 4.7 percent from last year, according to the Texas Farm Bureau. The American Farm Bureau Federation said the national cost is up too, 13.2 percent for a $49.20 meal. The price of a 16-pound turkey rose by 22.1% in the U.S. survey and 2.4% in the state survey. It could be worse. Last year in Texas, the holiday meal cost 13 percent more than 2009. But more even 4.7 percent is more.
