Frank Lloyd Wright Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect, interior designer, writer and educator, who designed more than 1,000 projects, which resulted in more than 500 completed works. Frank was born in the farming town of Richland Center, Wisconsin, United States, in 1867 where he lived with his farther. Wright attended a Madison high school but there is no evidence he ever graduated. He was admitted to the University of WisconsinMadison as a special student in 1886. There he joined Phi Delta Theta fraternity, took classes part-time for two semesters, and worked with a professor of civil engineering. Wright left the school without taking a degree to chicago in search for employment. Wright found work with Louis Sullivan, who at the time was a great architect. Wright eventually left Sullivan and was self-employed and completed 50 projects on Prairie Houses. He also developed Usonian Houses, and was deeply into Japanese Art. In my opinion Frank Lloyd Wright was an excellent architect and was a great contributor to Architecture. He also worked with Sullivan who was a well respected architect during his time. For someone who didnt finish college or get a degree he deserves a lot of respect for what he has accomplished in his life time. He was also in turmoil in chicago as well as problems amongst his family and Sullivan. April 9, 1959 Frank Lloyd Wright unfortunately passed away and still turmoil was present amongst his

third wife and daughter. Overall Frank Lloyd Wright was a great architect and definitely left his mark in the field of Architecture.
