INTRODUCTION
Maruti Udyog Limited (MUL) was established in
February 1981, though the actual production
commenced in 1983. Maruti Udyog Ltd is one of India's
leading automobile manufacturers and the market
leader in the car segment, both in terms of volume of
vehicles sold and revenue earned. It was a joint
venture between the Indian government, and Suzuki of
Japan in October 1982.  
Maruti Suzuki offers 14 models, Maruti 800, Omni, Alto, Alto K
10, Versa, Ritz, Gypsy, A Star, Wagon R, Zen Estilo, Swift, Swift
Dzire, SX4, and Grand Vitara. Maruti Suzuki has manufacturing
plants in Gurgaon & Manesar, company annually exports more
than 50,000 cars.

 Maruti Suzuki became the only Indian company to


manufacture and sell One Million cars in a year (2009-2010). 
HUMAN RESOURCE
The objective of HR is to facilitate continuous change
towards organization excellence. Maruti Suzuki has
employee strength over 7600( end of March 2010).

The company has a Net sales in Rs millions
289585 in December 2009-10. 
In December 2010, sales were up 23.5 per cent
in A2 and 19.4 per cent in A3 segment. In C
segment, company recorded a growth of 67.4
per cent.
 Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of
109,743 vehicles in January 2011. This includes
9,321 units of exports during the month.
CONCLUSION
Maruti Suzuki is India’s leading automobiles
manufacturers in car which offers quality,
reliability and originality to the consumers by
satisfying the needs of the consumers.
