INTRODUCTION
India is very populated country. Constantly expanding
population has required and will continue to demand for good
material and facility but available local companies are not sufficient
and also the market holding of the individual company is very small.
So we required good company with the very good market holding.

Multinational companies give people very good material and

facilities but they are at the very high cost and very good for high
society people so Indian common people cannot afford to use and
get their product. Indian life style living trend is now rapidly
changing with western culture but the Indian people are still Indian.
They are needed to have good Indian companies to give them good
material and facility to live and enjoy the better living life.

Seeing the present trends and requirement to Indian people the

Navneet Publication is the best Indian companies for good
publishing book product and good material at the very cheaper rate
as per requirements.

• Production Process :-

Mainly there are two types of plant lay outs:-

1. Line Lay out
2. Process lay out
Navneet’s physical arrangement of the machines is as
process lay out.
Navneet Publication has a production unit is only at Dantali.
Expert Dantali have not a single production in Gujarat.
Now we see the production process of Navneet Publications
papers basic raw materials of books, paper is just ‘Heart of the
Book’ Navneet gets paper from NPL & Ballarpur Paper Mill.
Everyday they use 100 tones paper. To make 1 kg. Paper 15 kgs
water is used. Each role of paper is about 600 kgs.

1. Department:-

This is the first stage of production process what they want

to produce first they prepare a butter print of pester and fixed on
think pad. It is known as DP1CDOT per square inch. This DP1 is
of two types:-
i) Positive plastic sheet
ii) Negative red color sheet
Four Pester is fixed on one sheet every sheet is printed on
aluminum plate. In the positive plastic sheet is used for only for
black & white printing and negative. Red color sheet is used for
books front-page printing, color books and color page printing. They
generally use only three color and one separate black color use. This
colors are yellow, blue, and red for others colors, they mix each
other. After two days pester is used. This is only one primary stage.

2. Plate Department:-

This is the second department of production. In this

department they use pester which is prepare in first department.
They print image pester sheet on aluminum plate. For these they
use XPD85HD machine. Each aluminum is worth Rs. 1,00,000.

22
Navneet Publication

The cost of each plate is about Rs.400. For this department 100%
coding is required. This department works 24 hours.

3. Printing Department:-

First reweaving the role of paper. Therefore, that dust is

cut out. Then they arrange aluminum plate in the machine. In the
machine, there is also blank plate on a upper side on aluminum
plate. For printing, they use Harrish Graphics. The speed of this
machine is 10,000 print per hour. Only in one, side print. The
main principle of Navneet Publication is that they never mixed
ink and water. First water is passed on the aluminum plate then
ink is print on paper. If they print black & white paper, they can
print both the sides together. For color printing print they have to
print only one side. In the machine print out comes first on
aluminum plate to black plate and then it is print on white paper
for printing inside four color and outside one color they use E-
Senate machine

4. Folding Cutting and clipping:-

After above process printed pages are automatically

folding as they arrange in machine.

When folding is completed, cutting process is started. The

bunch of folding print passed out & its cutting is already
automatically done. For cutting process, they import machine
from GERMANI. For cutting, they used program-99.

After finishing this process clipping is done also

automatically.

NAVNEET PUBLICATION also used one another

machine for printing. This is known as HARRISH WEB
OFFSET machine. Its speed is 25000 prints per hour. In this
machine printing, folding, cutting and binding done one by one
automatic.

23
Navneet Publication

5. Gum Binding Process:-

is GUM BINDING process. For the process COLBUS
MACHINE is used which is imported from GERMANI. It is
speed per hour 9000 books. In 1982 its price is 2 crore and at
present 22 crore. In this machine bundle of books, printed page
are again cut but in side only and they forward by machine where
gum is fixed by machine and front and last page fixed with this
bundle. This is only one machine with it 3 inch and 7.5 c.m.
Thick book is also gumming and cutting, too. This is best
capacity.

6. Final Cutting: -

after gumming final cutting is last stage. In that part book is

already 95% completed. After gumming process go to on moving
belt they reach to final cutting machine. In this machine they
arrange bleeds of machines as book size. In this machine, 10
books are cutt down automatically together. This is the machine,
which is already available in INDIA. This machine does only side
cutting of books and books becomes complete after this process.

Through this process NAVNEET PUBLICATION (INDIA)
