Fish With Tausi

Excellent source of Niacin - promotes normal digestion & healthy skin

3/4 kg (750 g) fish fillet (cream dory/maya-maya/labahita), cut into 2" sticks
1/4 kg (250 g) tofu, cut into 2" sticks
3 tbsp (27 g) cornstarch
1/4 cup (14 g) chopped onions
1 tbsp (42.5 g) minced garlic
3 tbsp (45 g) tausi, drained
3 tbsp (51 g) soy sauce
1 tbsp (20 g) oyster sauce
1 pouch (115 g ) DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits, drained (reserved syrup)

1. SPRINKLE fish with 1-1/2 tsp iodized fine salt and 1/8 tsp pepper. Let stand for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, deep-fry tofu until golden brown. Set aside.

2. DREDGE fish in cornstarch and deep-fry until golden brown. Set aside.

3. SAUTè onions, garlic and tausi in 1 tbsp oil. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, pinepple syrup and 2 tbsp
water. Bring to a quick boil. Add dissolved cornstarch and cook until thicken.

4. TOSS in fried fish, tofu and DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits. Cook for 2 more minutes or until heated
through.
