Reflection: I have never known about the matrix before this class. I love the idea of incorporating technology into my content
units. The matrix allowed me to explore my ideas and think about how I will practically use them in a classroom. I also liked how it
helped to organize some of my ideas that I have had for a long time, such as; project bud burst and a digital personalized time
line. Applying the standards was a little daunting to me and if I worked on this further Id like to try and incorporate the standards
I missed. I will reference this table when I am actually in my own classroom.
Reflection: Utilizing presentations in a classroom is essential. And I think the use of technology for presentations is intriguing.
When presenting information to my students I want them to be interested as well as learn something. I also like the idea of my
students using technology to share the information they have learned. I think the greatest advantage of digital presentations is
the almost unlimited creative possibilities. Technology provides a medium for students to demonstrate their visions. I will use

presentations in the class regularly and I want to keep my instruction varied in order to have the most effect and influence. This
time around I was more familiar with the technology standards and see how they apply to daily classroom life. I think that many
of these standards I will implement without even realizing Im doing it. I recently learned how to export PowerPoint as a movie
which allowed me to upload it to YouTube and then post it on a Weebly page. I want to have a classroom web page and learning
how to include a PowerPoint was a valuable lesson. I will now be able to share information with the families of my students more
easily. I also included in this matrix screenshots for the students to do and a screencast inclusion for me as a teacher. I think a
screencast is a great tool for students can reference when working independently. The matrix has helped me to organize many of
my ideas for my future classroom.
