The aim of this document, is to identify the bottlenecks or impediments that are hindering the completion
of tasks that I have been assigned to me. Before proceeding, I want to point out that most of them affected me
more at the beginning of my training. Hopefully, thanks namely to you and Jean Tezil I was able to act upon some. I
will classify them in two categories: Testing and paperwork activities.
Testing
Although my background is in Electrical Engineering, when I started at ACS I was not familiar with:
-EMC Testing environments like test standards (ANSI C63.10, FCC part15, part 18, EN 300 220..)
-EMC Software (Tile), unit programming
As of now by going through the training reading assignments, I feel more comfortable. But there are some key area
I will need help for improvements.
-Band edge measurements
-Manual measurements for power line conducted emissions and radiated emissions below 1 GHz.
- In house assets calibrations.
Paperwork
It has been an area where I experienced the most difficulties. Indeed, besides signed in and getting samples ready
for shipping I didnt know what else to do when we are slow or running automated final scans.
The impediments here, I could not identify, locate, and use different resources like:
-Report Tracker namely the Data Ready worksheet that allow you to see what is needed (block diagram, test
equipment list, RE and CE data, Test setup photo..,,) for different projects. It indicates also the project report issued
which allow me to close task and get the project ready to be closed on insight.
-ACS Equipment description, this can speed up the completion of block diagram
