Ofc. Sennott had a long conversation with party
male. Party was genuinely appreciative of the continuing
support from the MPD. He told the officer that son is
currently in lockdown ("Unit #35") at Norwood
Hospital.
They spoke by phone last night
(04/04/2016) at about 9:15pm at which time son repeated his
threat to kill father then kill himself to avoid being
jailed. Ofc. Sennott urged father to obtain a Restraining
Order against son and he said he intends to go to the
ADC
day off
tomorrow (Wednesday) to do so. Mother took the
from work tomorrow and they intend to go together.
Ofc.
Sennott gave him Det. Sgt. Crosman's name and father was
advised to seek him out at the courthouse if he needed
assistance. Father was encouraged to call Norwood Hospital
and stress how important it is for him (and the MPD) to
know if son is discharged. After obtaining the RO, father
intends to make his neighbors aware of son's circumstances
so the
whole neighborhood can be "on watch".
Father was also given the business line phone number so
that in case of an emergency involving and they can't get
to a landline, they can call us directly.
He was advised that if his wife cannot drive him to ADC
tomorrow for any reason to call us for a ride
