Itinerary
Group itinerary for Madawaska white water canoe trip
This is challenging day of class 2-3 white water with it being higher in the spring
and boney in the summer. This trip is for clients mostly 40-70 and some families.

July 2nd 2015


8am board the shuttle to Madawaska River
8:30 put in at south of Whitney old logging road
12:30 have a picnic lunch on the river
4:00 take out along major lake road.

Group itinerary for day hike


This hike is for clients of the B+B and is an activity they can do all year round.

July 3rd 2015


9am Shuttle to centennial ridge trail

9:15 start interpretive hike


12:30 have a picnic lunch on the trail
3:00 take out along centennial ridge trail

Daily response plan


If there is a vehicle collision
1. Activate EMS and local police department (Found on contact list above).
2. Call the Bed and breakfast and report the situation
3. Deal with incident
4. Call CAA for help
5. Get another shuttle to transport the clients back in uninjured.
6. Update the bed and breakfast

In Case Of Emergency
1. Call 911 (EMS) or 705 633 5577 (Algonquin National Park Service) using
the satellite phone at first possible opportunity
2. Call the bed and breakfast to let them know about the situation
No table of contents entries found.3. If victims injuries require
evacuation and transportation to the hospital, at least one team member
follow victim to the hospital in helicopter or in ambulance
4. Escort the rest of the clients out
7. Call and update the bed and breakfast
Non-Emergency Medical Problems
1. Assess injury/medical problem
2. Treat injury/medical problem according to WFR standards
3. Call the Bed and Breakfast and report the injury/medical problem using
the satellite phone or cell phone if there is coverage

4. If continuation of trip in full is undesired/impossible, take a short cut out


5. Continue to the shuttle and take only the victim to St Francis memorial
hospital
6. shuttle the rest of the clients back to the bed and breakfast
7. Update the bed and breakfast of the situation using cell phone or satellite
phone to update on current situation
