Inside our body there are many hormones which one is the
hormone insulin. Insulin is produced by the pancreas to balance
glucose levels. So insulin is a kind of sugar in the body that provides
energy in the bloodstream.
If the level of glucose in our body too much it will disrupt the
metabolic system. This disease is called diabetes. For that diabetics
require insulin injection to be able to balance the level of glucose in
the body.
Usually people affected by diabetes will always feel hungry,
but dont add appetite so that weight on the wane, constantly
urinating and always feel thirsty.
Diabetes have 2 types. Type 1 is caused by a lack of the
hormone insulin in the body. Whereas the hormone insulin is needed
to maintain normal glucose levels in the blood. Symptoms of people
affected by diabetes type 1 is a drastic reduction in body weight
within a few days. People with type 1 diabetes must inject insulin
daily to survive. Type 1 diabetes is usually attacks young people, are
like teenagers. Usually adolescents with type 1 diabetes was
diagnosed at the age of 14 years. Diabetes type was also obtained
from heredity.
Type 1 diabetes is different with type 2 diabetes. Usually,
people with type 2 diabetes in middle age or more. This type is more
due to the hormone insulin in the body are not functioning properly
so it can not control the glucose in your blood. People with type 2
diabetes usually have excessive body weight or obesity. Insulin
levels in type 2 diabetes is usually normal or higher than the
average person but the cells in the body is less work to respond.
If we consume too much sugar and drinking soft drinks that
contain sugar is very large, we may be affected by diabetes.
Diabetes can strike at the time of our youth. We must know that
diabetes can cause heart attacks, strokes, blindness, kidney
failure, nerve damage and even impotence. But diabetes can be
prevented. If we can keep our bodies properly, diabetes can be
delayed or even avoided
How to prevent diabetes disease ? We must eat portions
sparingly. Eating healthy and nutritious foods and less unhealthy
snacks because it can cause obesity, not eating too much food
containing sugar, Avoid the use of oil and butter in food, drinking
plenty of water before eating can reduce appetite, and the most
important is diligent exercise. We can start from the simplest sports,
such as walking every morning or swimming.
