USING THE PRESETS
The preset kit has three different folders, each producing different parts
of the toy camera effect. Heres a quick breakdown of how it can all
work together. But really, there are no rules, and we highly encourage
you to play around and experiment!
Cropping - Toy cameras often shoot in the square format, so beginning
by cropping your image to square can help replicate the look. But these
effects will also work if you dont crop, so thats up to you!
Combining - In general, the idea is that you pick one preset from each
folder to build your toy camera effect. You can, of course, choose just
one or two presets, instead of all three. Try out a bunch of combinations,
and see what you like best!
Resetting - Each folder has a reset preset that makes it easy for you to
clear the effects, and try something different. Youll find these at the bottom of each section. In folder 1. Main Effects, the Toy Camera - RESET
preset will remove all of the toy camera effects, other than any crops
youve made. This is handy if you want to start completely fresh!
Adjusting - Making tweaks to the presets is pretty straight forward, so
play around! The light leaks can be adjusted by opening the graduated
filter, and moving the gradients around to change the effect.

BIG IDEAS WITH PRESETS
Just a few last thoughts for you when it comes to using presets, and getting the most out of them!
Study - Take a look at what has been done in each of these presets, and
understand how that affected the image. This will help you tweak the
preset to your liking, and learn more about Lightroom!
Adjust - Presets will affect each image differently, since each photo is
made up of different amounts of tones. To get the best results, adjust the
preset for the specific image.
Experiment - Be bold. Experiment with presets! You can always reset the
image if you dont like it. Since Lightroom is non-destructive, you never
have to worry about reducing the quality of the image file.
Make Your Own! - Youll create your own unique style if you make your
own presets. They take one click to make, so adjust, experiment, and
save your creations!
