    Huey long:

    Politician who served as the 40th governor of Louisiana. from 1928 to 1932
    Long is best known for his share our wealth program, created in 1934 under the motto "
    every man a king.
    Under Long's leadership, hospitals and educational institutions were expanded, a system of
    charity hospitals was set up that provided health care for the poor, massive highway
    construction and free bridges brought an end to rural isolation, and free textbooks were
    provided for schoolchildren.
    Remains a controversial figure in Louisiana history, with critics and supporters debating
    whether or not he was a dictator, demagogue or populist.

    Coughlin

    He was one of the first political leaders to use radio to reach a mass audience, as up to
    thirty million listeners tuned to his weekly broadcasts during the 1930s. :
    Forced off the air in 1939.
    Early in his radio career, Coughlin was a vocal supporter of Franklin D. Roosevelt and
    his New deal.
    In 1934 he announced a new political organization called the National Union for Social
    Justice.

    their tenant workforce
    main focus of the RA was to now build relief camps in California for migratory workers,
    especially refugees from the drought-struck Dust bowl of the Southwest
    managed to construct 95 camps that gave migrants unaccustomed clean quarters with
    running water and other amenities
    After facing enormous criticism for his poor management of the RA, Tugwell resigned in
    1936.

    The Social Security Act created a Social Security Board to oversee the administration of the
    new program.
