fit better in our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade level. Please contact the NVA office to discuss
available options.

All practices and games will be held at Lake Forest College on TURF - a GREAT surface

What are NVA Cyclones Baseball Travel Teams?

NVA began giving players an opportunity to play to a higher level of play
three years ago. In a very short time weve expanded from just 12 players
our first season to 45 players who will participate in the 2015 travel
baseball program. We will have THREE teams - a 9U, 10U and an 11U
that will compete in the Mid Suburban Baseball League.

What is the commitment level?

Were trying to do travel a whole new way - offering families flexibility, but
at the same time competing at a high level of play. Cyclones travel teams
typically practice one to two times per week and play one to two games
per week. Players in our 9U, 10U, and 11U are not required to play house
as the travel schedule is a little more demanding. The Cyclones teams will
each play an 18-22 game schedule plus an additional tournament or two.
All seasons will start the month of May and end in mid July.

DAYS & POTENTIAL

GAME TIMES

Boys & girls must be currently in kindergarten to participate in Level 1 T-Ball (Preschool
upon request - please call the NVA office for approval). Bats & helmets will be provided by
NVA. Players in 3rd grade or older may bring their own bats, but bats must be carried in a
bat bag. Children need to provide their own glove. Uniforms are issued out and then
collected at the end of the season.

Requests for kids to play up may be made if you feel you have a kindergartener who
would fit better in our 1st grade league. Please contact the NVA office to discuss.

All spring practices are held at Lake Forest College. If there is rain, we will move
indoors at the college ice rink to train. Once spring training practices end, all games
move to Lake Forest Country Day School.

Start date will be the week of May 9th. The season will run until July 10th.
