I am looking for a new opportunity. I am currently working towards completing the Master of Arts in Teaching program,
majoring in Educational Leadership, at the University of Saint Mary. This is a completely online program. I previously
attended the University of South Florida, where I earned a B.A. degree in Sociology. Also, I have completed a Certificate
course in HR Management from Villanova University. Through my academic experiences, I have used programs such as
Taskstream, Media Space, Mendeley, Prezi, Mindomo, and Glogster. I am extremely organized, detail oriented, and
proficient in multi-tasking.
I am very enthusiastic about this position because not only has my recent experience as a teacher been educational, I also
feel that I would be an exceptional candidate, due to my experiences in HR, as well as my Sociology background. My
position as a Recruiting Administrator at Bisk Education has enabled me to acquire experience through the Recruiting
sector of the Human Resource Department. This position has also allowed me to enhance my presentation skills, which I
acquired mostly through my college experiences. In addition, I have had supervisory practice concerning my past work
experience, which was at Pay Day Motor Sales. For more than three years I supervised an office assistant as well as
customer accounts and various company accounts, including: employee benefits, banking, payroll and 401(K).
Also, as a student and teacher, I have possessed skills such as, leadership, organization, multi-tasking, team
worker/player, and conceptualization.

This opportunity allowed me to wear many hats throughout each day, which further
enhanced my knowledge of HR procedures and business practices. My duties included, but
were not limited to: Assisting in day-to-day operations alongside owners; General office
duties, such as filing, answering multi-line telephone; Accounting duties, such as all Payroll
functions, balancing checking and savings accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable,
and collections, and also working with Accountant on Returns and Financial Statements;
Interviewed, hired, trained and managed Office Assistants; Responsible for all paperwork
including: New Hire, Sales, Vehicle Tag & Title; Responsible for all employee benefit
enrollment, which consisted of Health Insurance and 401(k).
