The IKM-Manning Cross Country team competed at the Kuemper Invitational on September 19th. For the high school boys, Trevor Cast placed 8th and Mason Boell placed 31st. The boys team finished 7th overall. For the high school girls, Payton Sporrer placed 4th and was the medalist. The girls team did not have enough runners to place. In the middle school boys race, Quentin Dreyer placed 4th and Tanner Spoelstra placed 6th. The middle school team did not have enough runners to place.

Both of them ran aggressivly on the course today. Shyanne has had a solid start to the season as well, but she didnt run today due to a foot injury. We are hoping for a speedy recovery for her. For the boys team we need to work on developing a tighter pack and for that pack to move up the racing field.
