    AQA Drama GCSE Diary entries

    In as much detail as possible answer the questions below. You do not have to write in prose and can
    include drawings but your work should be clear and detailed. Work can be typed up if you wish.

    Diary Entry 1 - The History of Theatre Beginnings of work/


    improvisation
    What is the play, playwright, style, genre, time period and setting?
    What character/s are you playing and how can you describe them?

    How are you building your character?
    Describe how you have been capturing the style and what
    techniques you are using.
    Can you describe and explain 2 difficulties you have over come or
    worked around?
    Have you started to think about costume, props and staging what
    impact are each of these having?

    Diary Entry 3 - The History of Theatre Later rehearsals


    How have rehearsals been going?
    How easy / difficult has it been working in your style? Give 4 specific
    examples.
    Can you talk about your Technical and Dress rehearsals what
    changed or developed?
    Diary Entry 4 - The History of Theatre Performance Evaluation
    Please reflect on how you worked in rehearsals give 3 specific
    examples
    Please reflect on how the performance when give details of 3
    moments that when well and at least one moment that didnt go to
    plan.
