What are the Five Pillars of Islam


and how do they affect the lives of
Muslims?

The Five Pillars of


Islam
Muslims have
five duties
(things they
must do).

1. Faith-

Shahadah

This Pillar has two parts. Muslims


believe and say these words.
There is no god except
God. Muhammed is the
messenger of God.

2. PrayerSalat

Pray five times per day.

Muslims face Mecca when praying.
