really was. I had the idea that I would get up in front of class tell the student
what they needed to know and they would learn it. And then I start to be in
the classroom. I saw teacher teach these enriching lessons that addressed
different students and their different needs. Teachers need to differentiate.
They need to teach to meet students need by using different types of
instructional strategies. Teaching is not all about student learning content. It
is about meeting students needs. Students have a verity of needs not just
academic needs. There are students who need structure and need someone
to support them in their learning. I believe that it you give students support
they will learn. I believe that students need to pushed and stretched but they
need to have the support through his or her learner. I believe that if I can
give them engaging work they will have an interest in learning and want to
further their education. If students feel successful they will want to further
their education. I feel that students need more then academic content they
need to be thought to be learners.
