The European nations that are not members are Iceland,
Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, and Turkey
6. How is it run?
Its run by the European Council, European Parliament, European
Commission, and the presidency. The European Council is where the
huge decisions are mostly made. There are people from each country
involved. The European Parliament decides if the suggestions from
the Commission should be made into laws. It also helps with how
much the EU should spend. Also makes sure parts of the EU are
working right. Members are elected every five years. The European
Commission does day to day work for the EU. This means things like
making new laws for the European Parliament to vote on, and makes
sure laws are used properly. Finally, the presidency is where every
six months a different country gets the presidency of the EU.
Comes around every 13 and a half years.

Its grown by the EU started with only six members, and now has
grown with their members. It expanded to nine countries, than it
ended with having 27 members, and now there are 28 members
today which is a huge accomplishment.
