    The patient presented with fever, loss of appetite, and headache. On examination, the patient had a typhoid tongue and hepatomegaly. The patient was diagnosed with typhoid fever and given IV fluids, antibiotics, antipyretics, and antacids. On follow up, the fever persisted and the liver was still enlarged. The diagnosis was changed to typhoid hepatitis and additional treatments including amino fluids and an expectorant were added. The patient's condition improved with treatment.
