    tolerances of holes with typical 60-40 split in favor of

    Greater positional tolerance is given to threaded holes as they do not


    benefit as much from MMC and because there is typically more
    tolerance build up in the process of machining tapped holes.

    can be calculated by finding the difference between Entered and
    Calculated value for any of the 4 tolerances. In This case the
    potential interference at worst case is:

    .028 - .002 = .026
    .500 - .474 = .026

    Convert 'square' +- tolerance zones to equivalent circular


    position tolerance. Enter total range of X and Y tolerance,
    not variation from nominal. Only works properly if X
    tolerance range = Y tolerance range.
