    A Peek at Our Week:
    Reading: We will be learning about how authors and
    illustrators use details to tell us about important things.
    Math: We will continue our unit on addition to 20.
    Writing: We will write about apples.
    Science/Social Studies: We will continue a unit on safety,
    including playground safety and safety tips for home.
    Spelling/Phonics: We will be working with short E words
    (bed, Fred, shed, etc.). We continue to review reading and
    writing words with digraphs (ch, sh, th, wh, ph). You can find
    examples of these digraphs on the digraph chart in your
    childs binder. Continue working at home on the weekly words.
    Spelling test on Friday
