Question/Discussion
1. How to use graphics and charts?
To use smart art graphics and charts, you must first, prepare a new slide and set the layout to Title and Content. Right-click the new slide on the slides panel/control pane and choose layout, then choose title and content.
In the centre of the slide, there are 6 insert icons, table, chart, smart art graphic, image, clip art and video. Choose smart art graphic to insert smart art graphic or chart to insert charts.
After that a window will appear for you to choose the type of graphics you want to use. For this, we will use hierarchy for a family tree
Then enter the information in the chart.
To insert charts, select the insert chart icon and then a window will appear for you to select the type of chart. For this, we will use 3-D Clustered Column Chart.
Then an excel window will pop up for you to enter the chart information. Just like Excel, category is for the x-axis and series is for the y-axis.
2. How to run a presentation? To run a presentation there are 3 ways to do so, first is to click F5 on the keyboard, it will automatically run the presentation for you after clicking F5. The slides will play from the first to last.
